Known as one of the least worthwhile investments in the country, savings accounts currently yield 6% per year + 1.01% of the reference rate. Therefore, the R$5,000 will be worth, in a year, R$5,350.50 .

Selic Treasury

With the Selic rate at 10.50% per year, the final balance of a bond maturing in 2027 would be R$5,479.20.

Prefixed Treasury

For the Treasury Prefixado, the simulated rate was Selic + 0.081%, obtaining a final net balance of R$ 5,423.28 .

CDB

In the CDB, the analyst evaluated several allocation possibilities, whether prefixed, indexed to the IPCA or even to the CDI. In the simulation, a security with a profitability of 110.00% of the CDI, which was the one that yielded the most, would have a final balance of R$5,457.60 .

LCI/LCA

If the investor wants to try to seek a slightly higher profitability and is willing to take risks, Lima simulated R$5,000 in LCI (Real Estate Credit Letters) and LCA (Agribusiness Credit Letters).

For the calculation, the analyst also evaluated the various profitability possibilities in the IPCA, CDI and fixed rates. The highest simulated profitability was with a fixed rate of 9.97% for the LCI and 10.25% for the LCA, which would yield, respectively, R$5,498.50 and R$5,512.50 .

It is worth remembering that this asset is exempt from Income Tax.
